Liu Zong · 2006
A survey of the literature about the research in recently on the interplay of Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) and Ontologies is carried out from an application point of view. Among many other knowledge representations formal- isms,Ontologies and Formal Concept Analysis (FLEA)aim at modeling ‘concepts’. How these two formalisms may complement each another is discussed in this paper. In particular, how FCA can be used to support Ontology Engineer- ing, and how ontologies improve an FCA application.
