Integrated Network Management System Based on CORBA

The paper introduces the characteristics of integrated network management system based on Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA). States some concepts about IDL,ORB,OA,Stub,Skeleton,ORB interaction of CORBA. Depicts the architecture of INMS based on CORBA, which includes the modules of network management application, gateway interface, management information database. And presents the CORBA/SNMP gateway and its realization model. Moreover, it is convenient to realize the gateway when the static part is apart from the dynamic part. The supplemented services of CORBA are introduced and the realization of the server part is stressed.
