Analysis and design of real-time system based on UML

UML2—the latest version of the unified modeling language and the role and significance of the design for real-time systems is introduced by using UML2.The concept used in the design of real-time systems in UML2 is discussed.An application of home security system design using UML2 is presented,analyzing the static structure and dynamic behavior of the system,modeling system from an overall point by UML diagram such as class diagram,sequence diagram,state diagram,to illustrate real-time analysis and design process.The efficiency,quality of software designing and the maintenance,reusability of software products would be improved based on using UML to analyze and design the system.
