Dynamic simulation on vocal tract of dysarthria based on Matlab

Dongfan Chen · Computer-aided engineering · 2009

To implement the auxiliary treatment of dysarthria,Matlab is used to fulfill the dynamic simulation of vocal tract. By the pole's form, the iterative calculation is used to get the formant on the basis of Newton interpolation. The non-linear subsection is done on vocal tract and Matlab is used to implement the vocal tract shape display after subsection. The Corana parameter is used to improve the calculation to optimize nine vocal tract parameters. A large number of iterative calculation is accomplished to obtain the appropriate parameters and the optimized vocal tract shape can be shown, which can provide treatment reference for the therapist of dysarthria. The glottal excitation model is used to excite voice and the voice for feedback can be syntherized. This simulation model can provide reference for the appropriate treatment.
