Realization of campus management information system based on OLE

Among data which are needed in the campus management, many are based on special data, while the traditional campus management information system only put emphasis on the input, process, analysis and management of system attribute data that it can not do the information process of location. This paper discusses GIS exploitation environment based on OLE of Visual Basic and MapInfo technology. Using object-oriented method, campus management information system is developed based on GIS. So that effectively resolve this problem. This application indicates that the technology can shorten GIS software developing cycle and improve software extendibility.
