The Research on System-Level Modeling of Router for Network-on-Chip

As the most important part of NoC,the system-level modeling of router can be used to construct simulation platform of NoC or guide the realization of RTL modeling of router.This paper presents a modeling of router based on 2D-Mesh,and cuts the protocol modeling of the OSI used as the communication protocol of the router.The modeling is constructed on SystemC platform,and adopts the modified XY-dimensional routing algorithm and the wormhole switching technology and the polling arbitration,and uses the full connected switch and sets four virtual channels on input ports to improve the performance of the router.
