Squeezing and Quantum Statistical Property in Two-mode Superposition States

Mu Yi · Journal of Sichuan Normal University · 2003

On the basis of singlemode superposition states, we study further the twomode superposition stats. The squeezing and quantum statistical properties in different twomode superposition states have been studied. The influences of the number photon, number difference, coefficients in the states and their relative phase on these nonclassical properties have been discussed. Finally, the squeezing in the twomode superposition states is compared with that in the singlemode ones. The results indicate that both in twomode singlephoton and twomode twophoton superposition states exists sum squeezing, however, only twomode singlephoton superposition states have normal squeezing.
