Effect of Chaotic Character of Ferroresonance with Nonlinear Core Loss in PT

Ferroresonance is complicated nonlinear phenomenon which often happens in power system.Core loss of the power transformer is modeled by a third order series in voltage.Comparing with linear core loss,the results show that the onset of chaos appears at larger excitation voltage and the transient duration is shorter.Moreover,the EMTP simulation results show the rightness of theory analysis.
