The Extension of Spatial-temporal Data Model of Base State with Amendments and the Method of Spatial-temporal Query

By analyzing the problems of several typical spatial-temporal data models confronted in the application,the authors hold the view that the expanding method of spatial-temporal data model of base state with amendments is thought suitable for the spatial-temporal field of GIS.Base state database and history database are adopted to store spatial-temporal data.The definition of the structure of spatial-temporal database is designed as well.And then the query of snapshot at any time is formulated in detail.Finally,experimental results with the practical and simulated data have proved the feasibility and reasonability of the approach presented in this paper.
