Application of extended UART IC GM8123 in orientation and navigation function on GIS

This paperintroduces the problemoforientationinformationcollectingonGISand puts forward the comˉmunication and disposal systembased on extended UARTGM8123.On one hand,such a systemobtains orientaˉtion information via GPS and Laser surveying system,on the other hand,it communicates with host PC and PDA to send data and responses the order which the host PC and PDA transmit.
