Design of Host/Device Control FSM for USB OTG Dual-Role Controller

As an important module of USB On-The-Go dual-role controller, the host/device control FSM helps two USB devices to communicate with each other directly. Implement method of host/device control FSM for USB OTG dual-role controller is proposed in this paper in detail, and design of the USB OTG dual-role controller IP is also completed. The simulate results demonstrate the correctness of the design after passed functional verification which based on Parterre SoC platform. With a standard UTMI+ interface, the IP is suitable for SoC design with USB module widely.
