Research on Subdividing Method for Output Signal of Incremental Encoders

The problem that dynamic measurement affects the measuring accuracy for existing high-precision incremental encoder was analyzed.A new electronics method was introduced,which is not affected by the speed fluctuations of shaft,and is fast,simple and easy to implement.This article also elaborated the principle of subdivision,gave the circuit and made a simulation test with the Multism software.The results show that two multiple frequency pulses in 90 phase difference were outputted correctly under dynamic conditions.
