Analysis of the Excitation System of Variable Speed Constant Frequency Generator

The excitation system of variable speed constant frequency generator (ACEVSCFG) is studied. The 12-pulse cycloconverter as excitation equipment of ACEVSCFG is presented, it is proved that 12-pulse cycloconverter can meet the need of ACEVSCFG and is better than 6-pulse cycloconverter through simulations and experiments.
