Modified LDPC Decoding Algorithm with Fedback

Massage bit probability may oscillate between 0 and 1 in iterative decoding of LDPC in moderate and high SNR region which would increase the BER.A modified decoding algorithm is proposed to combat the negative effect on the decoding performance.The modified decoding algorithm achieves an improved performance of 0.2 dB in comparison to the traditional BP decoding algorithm when Eb/N0 is between 0 dB and 1.5 dB.
