Dynamic Extensible Intelligent Video Surveillance System based on MPEG-4 and Linux

This paper presents a design of Extensible Digital Intelligent Video Surveillance System based on MPEG-4 and Linux OS.With the master-slaved communication mode,this surveillance system can be dynamically extended.Using detecting and tracking al-gorithm,it implements intelligent alarming and intelligent data storing.The highlights of the system are miniaturization,digital and network communication,and its innovative points are intelligent alarming,intelligent data storing and dynamic extensibility.
