Finite element calculation and error analysis on capacitance liquid level sensor

The math model of the double cylinders capacitance liquid level sensor is set up by the finite element method.The relation between the capacitance and its size,the relative permittivity,located pins and liquid level is presented.The result error caused by the parallelism,concentricity and the circuit is analysed.Calibration experiment shows,the accuracy in the range of 0~500mm is 0.2mm.
