Grey prediction model for construction settlement forecast of embankment of high-speed railway and its application

To estimate the settlement deformation of ground of ballast-free high-speed railway track reasonably,Beijing-Tianjin passenger special line was taken as an example using traditional grey prediction model and grey prediction model was modified for settlement forecast of embankment.The results show that on the one hand the modified grey prediction model has higher precision because the model makes use of information from original data more fully;on the other hand,the modified grey prediction model break interval timing constraints of traditional grey prediction model,so that the scope of application of the model in the actual forecast is broadened.Therefore,in practical application,the modified grey prediction model is recommended.
