Study on Problems of Radar Detection Range Conversion between Different Types of Targets

In this paper,we research in the problems of radar detection range conversion between different types of targets systemically under the conditions of constant false-alarm probability and alterable detection probability,then derivate a series relatively self-contained conversion formulas which is convenient for civil engineering application such as radar equipment argumentation,force effectiveness evaluation and optimum deployment and etc.The error analysis indicate that the max point error of range conversion formulas is under 3%,which satisfy to the evaluation of detection range in civil engineering application completely.
