The Visual Information Support System for Military Equipment Maintenance

The paper analyzes the significance of maintenance support to military equipment and the problems of traditional maintenance support information system. On this basis, the paper introduces related information about project, development, structure and characters of U.S DoD's Maintenance and Repair Support System (MARSS), and analyzes application foreground of this kind of visual information support system. The paper also gives some advice for researches in this country.
