Application of GF(2~m) elliptic curve cryptography onto smart card

In this paper,an overview of the basic theory of character 2 field elliptic curve cryptography is proposed.Then the security mechanism of smart card is analysed,and ECC is applied onto smart card,the implementation of ECC onto smart card is given,and an application flow of ECC onto smart card's pin validation is put forward.Finally,the performance of ECC smart card is analysed.
