Optimized Implementation of H.264 DCT and Quantization Based on ADSP-BF533

According to international video coding/decoding standard H.264 provided by ITU-T,the JM algorithm and self-characteristic of TI Blackfin 533 DSP are analyzed.The JM algorithm that uses integer DCT and quantization for coding and uses inverse DCT(IDCT) and inverse quantization for decoding in standards is transplanted to DSP successfully.At the same time,the software and hardware optimizations are implemented according to DSP characteristics,and good result is achieved.
