Synthesis of Cationic Polyfluoroacrylate with Cationic/non-ionic Emulsions

Cationic polyfluoroacrylate was synthesized with cationic/non-ionic emulsions.The result showed that the best quality ratio of cationic emulsions 1631,non-ionic emulsions FSA and AEO-9 was 1.75%,1.25%and 0.08% respectively.Under this condition,for CFPA_R(20),the conversion rate was 93.8%,the particle size was 139nm and the water contact angle was 92.8°.With increasing dosage of hydrocarbon emulsifier,the water contact angles of copolymer films decreased dramatically.But the decreased extent of low fluoride content CFPA_R(20) was greater than the high fluoride content CFPA_R(50).And it was indicated that the fluorinated emulsifier FSA did the same thing.
