Research on Intrusion Detection Based on Improved-ant Clustering Algorithm

The paper analyzed the process and character of this algorithm,and proposed a new algorithm named enhance-ants clustering algorithm.The new algorithm reduces the number of isolated data and improves the result of clustering. the paper designed a model for testing the effect of the algorithm applied to intrusion detection. this paper gave a computer simulation of the algorithm applied to intrusion detection,using KDD CUP99 data set.The result of the experiment proved that the algorithm had a high detecting rate and a low distorting rate.
