Architecture on grid-based LiDAR data processing

With improvements in data acquisition technologies,an increase in the volume of LiDAR data comes.The centralized software is insufficient in processing speed and share style currently.Emerging Grid technologies is a cost-effective solution for solving scientific problems that involve large datasets and complex analyses.A grid-based software architecture for LiDAR data processing is presented in this paper.Computation speed is improved by centralized task scheduling and parallel computing technologies.All of data and processing resource is opened for the community through a web portal.
