Image fragile watermarking scheme based on the discrete fractional random transform

A new scheme of embedding watermark is proposed in an image based on the discrete fractional random transform(DFRNT).This kind of fragile watermarking can be applied to distinguish true or false information in multimedia.Firstly,original image and original watermark are transformed to the DFRNT domain respectively. Then DFRNT of original watermark is directly added to DFRNT spectrum of original image.Finally,the watermarked image is obtained by applying inverse DFRNT.The significant feature is that the DFRNT itself serves as the secret key.In particular,this algorithm can detect little image distortion between true information and imitated information.Numerical simulations demonstrate the its effectiveness and security.
