Optimization of Equipment Management in Local Universities Using Two-dimensional Bar Code Technology of the Mobile Phone

To improve equipment management in local universities,this paper,taking into consideration the practice of laboratory management in local universities,proposed the optimization of equipment management by using two-dimensional bar code technology of the mobile phone: changes in the life cycle of equipment were dynamically traced by integrating the two-dimensional bar code technology of the mobile phone with the equipment database of the management system;validation software of two-dimensional bar code and small-amount online payment system were developed based on the J2EE to embody networking payment by the mobile phone for the utilization of equipments;equipment information were conveniently inquired by scanning the two-dimensional bar code with the mobile phone;intelligent and auxiliary management for applicant and equipment maintenance were achieved,which promoted equipment management in local universities.
