A New CIMS Application Architecture

The traditional CIMS reference architecture is not practically effective in the system analysis, design and implementation. The paper introduces a new CIMS application architecture consisting of three layers: data layer, logic layer and controlling layer, and specifies the composition and relationship of each layer in detail. Moreover, on the basis of the reference model,an instructive system analysis and design method is described, which has been proved to be successful in Qingshan Paper Mill' CIMS.
