Implementation schemes choice of Ethernet-ring over MSTP

There are two major implementation schemes of Ethernet-ring at present: one is shared Ethernet ring based on L2 switching, the other is embedded RPR-ring. In this paper, technological characteristics of these two schemes are discussed. Then suggestions on solution are given by comparison.
