Based on rock of cement mortar cutting fragmentation test under different impact energy, relation between impact space and cutting depth was obtained, their ratio's influence was aralysed that on specific energy of rock fragmentation.Fractal feature of rock fragmentation by impact cutting was analyzed with the method of GP algorithm, the influence of different impact space and cutting depth on correlation dimension was researched into.Test results indicate that with the variation of ratio between impact space and cutting depth, fractal feature of rock fragmentation distributes as concave, cutting depth gets improved when impact space decreases, and there exists an optimal ratio that minimizes the specific energy of rock fragmentation.Correlation dimension is used as a sensitive index of the variation of specific energy,it simply and effective identify the functional degree of impact space in rock fragmentation, and it offers a new approach to select reasonable matching values of impact and to enhance the rock fragmentation effect.
