Computing rule confidence in medical aided diagnosis expert system

Rough membership function is used to compute rule confidence, which diminishes subjective influences on confirming certainty factor (CF) and makes CF more accurate and objective. Experiment in solitary pulmonary nodule (SPN) computer-aided diagnosis expert system proves that the method can enhance the reliability of uncertainty inference.
