Defect management system based on CMM level 2 define flexible defect lifecycle and status change condi- tion,introduce Email to drive software testing management,circumscriber responsibility of different department, provide a great deal useful statistic report to different people,supply all-around testing management which many testing tools can not provide..the effect of applying defect management system to BOSS testing was proved,the tes- ting management system can improve testing efficiency,track testing schedule,advance project management level, enhance software quality management and shorten software develop period.
