Data Organization and Management in the MIS of Construction Consultation and Supervision

In this paper, the data flow chart of CSMIS based on Internet/Intranet is introduced. Demon-strated is a method for data organization and management, which includes the following aspects: classified (coding) of project files, unified management of data, RDBMS, data description, and analysis with files and hpertext or XML pattern. In addition, the ways for realization using SQL server 2000 and Visual FoxPro are discussed in details.
