A METHOD OF MEDICAL IMAGE REGISTRATION BASED ON CONTOUR EXTRACTION

In this paper,a method of assessing the medical image registration parameters based on contour extraction and an iterative algorithm are proposed.At the same time an evaluation function was constructed in order to guide the iterative process.It is proven by the experiment that the proposed method is adapted not only to the registration of the monomodal medical image but also to the multimodal medical image as well.
