Study on the Timing Synchronization Algorithm Based on Training Sequence

The thought of improving Schmidl algorithm is proposed in the article to overcome the peak value plateau which occurs in the algorithm and multi-peak value which occurs in H.Minn algorithm.When the timing is in the range of circulation prefix,the total sum of related calculation is reduced,which can eliminate peak value plateau and reduce the influence of multi-peak value.Simulation results show the improved algorithm has better performance than than Schmidl algorithm and H.Minn algorithm.
