Analysis and Comparison of Flash File Systems in Avionic Embedded Systems

NAND flash is recently applied in mass storage devices of avionic systems, while flash file systems with high availability and reliability are needed. Focusing on main flash file systems, such as Reliance, JFFS2, YAFFS2 etc, analyze and compare operational principles of these file systems, and present guidelines to help users determine which flash file system meets their needs in avionic systems.
