A New High-performance Shared Parallel I/O System

How to solve the I/O bottleneck problem efficiently has always been a key technology under research in high performance parallel computer systems.HPPIO,a new large scale high-performance shared parallel I/O system is introduced in this paper.And a series of high-efficient shared parallel I/O technologies have been adopted in HPPIO system.This paper discusses the distributed and centralized combined shared I/O system architecture,the design and implementation of the high-performance I/O controller based on PCI express interconnection,and so on.
