A New Shadow Removal Algorithm Based on Illumination Invariant

A new shadow removal algorithm based on illumination invariant was introduced,for moving object detection.First,shadow for 2D image was restorated based on illumination invariant.Second,method combined with mutual information and brightness was presented.Finally,the original image set so that no original shadow edge consolidated with a boundary of the image is mirrored.The experimental results show that the method can solve the problems of lighting and shadows,suppress shadows effectively.
