According to its syntactic function,Ningke(宁可) is a quasi-conjunction.Through the redefining of choice relation,complex sentences with Ningke(宁可) can only be seen as atypical members in this category.Through the consequence of small scale tests on the similarity of complex sentences with Ningke(宁可) to typical selective complex sentences and concessive complex sentences,we find that complex sentences with Ningke(宁可) have higher similarity to concessive complex sentences.
