Power Efficiency in Distributed Antennas System

A linear program based on power allocation model is proposed to enhance power efficiency of distributed antennas system.The modified simplex algorithm is explored to conduct optimal power allocation.Simulation results show that the more the transmit antennas,the less power is needed to satisfy the lowest SNR by users,and that the proposed power allocation scheme could more considerably save transmit power,and more significantly raise system power efficiency than fixed power allocation schemes in distributed systems and centralized systems.
