An advanced marking scheme and realization for onion routing traceback

Onion routing is a new technology for hiding information, it provides anonymous connection that is strongly resistant to both eavesdropping and traffic analysis, one difficult to thwart denial-of-service attacks is to trace the source IP. In this paper, we present an advanced marking scheme for onion routing which allows the victim to traceback the approximate origin source IP packets and keep packet抯 hiding inforamtion. Our technique has very low network and router overhead and support incremental deployment.
