Applied study of PSS/E general generator model

The ordinary PSS/E generator model can not effectively simulate X_d=X_q'and has difficulty in simulating E'_q constant model of nonsalient-pole generator. The method of using PSS/E general generator model CGEN1 to solve above problems was put forward. The generator sub-transient model, transient model and E'_q constant model were established based on CGEN1 model. The calculation formula of CGEN1 model parameter was given and the correctness of model structuring method was checked and verified. The stability calculation result showed that CGEN1 model can meet the requirement of different levels of generator simulation.
