On Attributive Nouns in English

This article is a descriptive analysis on attributive nouns used in present-day English.It illustrates the syntactic features of attributive nouns and the semantic relationships between attributive nouns and their head nouns.It focuses on the differences between attributive nouns and compound nouns,attributive nouns and some attributive adjectives derived from nouns.
