The design and implementation of VoFi(Voice over IP over WiFi) Phone modular based on embedded MontaVista Linux Consumer Electronics Edition and Qtopia Phone Edition are described. After analyzing the structure of Qtopia Phone Library, the scheme to add VoFi Phone modular while keeping the original structure of Qtopia Phone Library is introduced, and then the implementation of the modular is illustrated in detail using a top-down sequence. The description of the skeleton of Qtopia Phone Library and the way to add VoFi Phone modular in a loose-coupling manner would give some ideas to developing other applications based on Qtopia Phone Library.
