Redundancy design by using ARM controllers in DCS

The redundancy technology is widely used in Distributed Control System(DCS).New kinds of controllers such as the RISC controller represented by ARM controllers provide more selections for framework design of DCS,and the DCS with new framework can be characterized by high stability and price-performance ratio.A new Distributed Processing Unit(DPU) based on ARM controller is presented,and the DPU redundancy design for DCS as well as the network redundancy design is analyzed.
