A reconfigurable cell array architecture and scheduling task algorithm

A new reconfigurable cell array architecture that can overlap the configuration time and data transferring time with the computing time is proposed,and a list scheduling algorithm is proposed for scheduling the tasks which will be mapped to the new reconfigurable cell array architecture.The co-simulation between the software and hardware has been done on the platform of SOCDesigner,and for IDCT,FFT,4×4 MAT_MUL the new reconfigurable cell array using the proposed scheduling algorithm has an average 10% speedup compared with the old reconfigurable cell array.
