A High-performance Visual Web Server Research Based on Cluster

Aiming at the need of high scalability and high availability of the network service,in this paper we propose the architecture of the Visual Server based on cluster.We also present the modular design and implementation of it.It has a Director at the front which receives a connection and HTTP request from the client and transfers it to some server in the back server pool.We use direct routing mode,so the back-end responses to the client directly.We construct loadable module based on Linux kernel to realize relatively independent function,which will contribute to fasten the speed of packet transferring.It achieves high performance and high scalability through our test.
