To promote the development of independent CAE software and its industry in China,the problems of CAE software development in the major national projects of China and the strategic games with foreign software are detailed.China can not be located in the low-end of global value chain.CAE software and industry in China should be developed from the aspects such as quality standards of software system and integrated system engineering of unified software,and the breakthroughs and competitive advantage in key areas should be achieved.
