The Architectures and Applications of Current Supercomputers

The paper summarizes the architecture types and characteristics of current supercomputers, and investigates the applications of supercommuters in several typical domains such as weather simulation, nuclear simulation , CFD, bioinformatics/medicine, astrophysics in foreign countries. In addition, it also analyzes the relationship between supercomputer architectures and their application domains.
