Software Radio Platform Design Based on High-Performance DSP
Ming Hao · 2007
In this paper, a general software radio platform is introduced, which uses high-performance DSPs as its basic unit for data processing, and high-speed serial interfaces for data communication. There are also one FPGA and several high-speed A/D and D/A integrated on it as peripherals. This platform can be designed to meet the requirements of various kinds of wireless communication systems. We first discuss the structure design and on-board data communication scheme of this platform, and then implement a di-rect sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) system on it as an example to show its competency.
