A Construction of non-Cartesian Authentication Code from Symplectic Geometry
Liu Jin-xia · Journal of Hengshui University · 2006
Authentication codes are used in communication channels.Besides the transmitter and the receiυer there is an opponent who may play either the impersonation attack or the substitution attack in the information transformation.A construction of non-Cartesian authentication code from symplectic geometry is giυen in this paper. The cardinals |S|、|E|、|M| are computed.Assuming that the encoding rules are chosen according to a uniform probability distribution, the probabilities of successful impersonation attack and of successful substitution attack of the code are computed.
